Diane Marie (Vidumansky) Flory

1945-2026

Diane Marie (Vidumansky) Flory passed away peacefully on Jan. 8, 2026, at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, N.C. after a year-long battle with cancer.

Diane was the second child of Edward J. and Mary Gladys Vidumansky, born in Salem, Ohio on Jan. 13, 1945. She graduated from Leetonia High School in 1963, and was employed for several years at Hunt Valve in Salem.

Diane relocated to North Carolina with her family in 1978.

She retired after 30 years of administrative employment with CCHC Atlantic Primary Care and its various incarnations in New Bern, N.C.

A devout Catholic, Diane was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church in New Bern, NC.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Edward R. Vidumansky.

Loving survivors include Diane’s two sons: Ron Flory II and wife Erica of Wendell, N.C. and their children: Alexandria Klimala (Brian), Rhianna Flory, and Gavin Flory (all of North Carolina); and her son Chad Flory and girlfriend Cindy Kupec of New Bern, N.C.

Other survivors include her brother Dennis Vidumansky of Leetonia, and sister Debra Vidumansky of Leetonia; her nieces: Melissa Blackmore of Plano, Texas; and Arlene Spahn (Chris) of Hartville, Ohio. She also leaves behind several cousins.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to The Lisa Dale Foundation or St. Paul Catholic Church in New Bern, N.C., in Diane’s memory.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in New Bern, N.C. on Feb. 6, 2026 at 11 a.m.

An additional memorial service will be held at a future date in Leetonia Ohio, with interment of cremains at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Leetonia.
