Christina Ann Murphy

LEETONIA — Christina Ann Murphy, 50, of Leetonia, passed away Dec. 11, 2025, at her home following long illnesses.

She was born Aug. 23, 1975, in Salem, Ohio, a daughter of Teresa Ann Murphy Kegelmyer, and had lived in Leetonia all of her life. She was a large social butterfly. A graduate of Leetonia High School, she loved marching band, shopping, and especially her nieces and nephews as well as her dog, Harley Quinn.

Christina is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bill Kegelmyer; her brother, L.K. (Emily) Kegelmyer of Lisbon; a sister, Amanda J. (Shaun) Taylor of Leetonia; a niece, Chloe Taylor; and three nephews, Hunter and Greyson Kegelmyer, and Connor Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2005, at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Deacon Larry Pasko officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday and because of Christina’s love of Christmas, are encouraged to wear Christmas sweaters or other Christmas attire.

A luncheon will served at the American Legion in Leetonia following the service.
