Richard A. Kugler

EAST PALESTINE — Richard A. Kugler, 66, passed away unexpectedly November 11, 2025, at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1959, in Salem, son of the late Richard M. and Mary Black Kugler.

Richard was a lifelong resident of East Palestine and a 1978 graduate of East Palestine High School. He worked as a machinist for over 20 years at Tube Tech in East Palestine. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, woodworking and his dog Echo.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Angela (Joshua) Jeffries of East Palestine; a sister, Cindy (Robert) Green, two brothers, Jeffrey Kugler and Timothy (Barbara) Kugler all of East Palestine; three grandchildren, Illyana, Kyleena and Zayna; nephew and nieces, Timothy (Heather) Kugler, Jr. and Joseph Kugler and Casey (Lee) Shetler as well as his longtime companion Debbie Inman and her daughter, Samantha Gerber.

Following Richard’s wishes, no services will be observed. He will be laid to rest privately with his parents in Columbiana.
