Paul Welsh

1945-2025

Paul Welsh passed away on Oct. 26, 2025, at the age of 80 in Columbiana. Born on Feb. 13, 1945, Paul dedicated many years of service to Ferris Coal Company in East Palestine, Ohio.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Myers of New Waterford, Ohio; his son, Kevin Welsh of Negley, Ohio; and his sister, Rose Henderson of Columbiana, Ohio. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Welsh Sr.; his mother, Alice Welsh; and his son, Michael Welsh.

Paul had a passion for woodworking, a hobby that brought him much joy and satisfaction throughout his retirement years. His crafted pieces were not only expressions of his skill but also tokens of love that he shared with his family and friends.

Paul’s life will be privately celebrated by his family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice, honoring his spirit of giving and community support.
