John C. Beadnell

1956-2025

John C. Beadnell, 69, of Salineville, OH, passed away on November 13, 2025 from a tragic accident while hunting, one of his life's passions.

Born on April 9, 1956 in Canton OH the son of John Beadnell and the late Mary (Nicholson), Beadnell. John was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and an avid hunter and fisherman.

John was a lifelong resident of Salineville, OH. He graduated from Southern Local High School in 1974 and retired from Sterling Mining Corporation. John was a faithful member of Wintersville Methodist Church and enjoyed attending Sunday services with his family. More than anything, John loved his family and was happiest when everyone was together. He made countless memories with his sons and grandsons hunting and fishing, cheering for his children and grandchildren's sporting events, and camping with his wife Jayne. They truly loved living life together on their farm.

John is survived by his loving wife, Jayne whom he married July 22, 1988 and spent 37 happy years with, his 5 children: Jennifer Board (Grant), Jason Beadnell, Kara Hanely (John), Kerrie Esancy (Cheryl), and Josh Beadnell (Kylie), his father John Beadnell, 2 brothers: Will Beadnell (Deanna), Ray Beadnell (Lynn), and his 9 grandchildren: Grady, Hope, Annie, Journey, Levi, Easton, Sawyer, Matthew and Holden.

John was preceded in death by his mother Mary (Nicholson), Beadnell; his mother and father-in-law Maurice and Helen Dunn; his 2 sisters in law: Diane Moreira and Janet Miller, and his 2 grandchildren: Jayden Beadnell and Wyatt Hanely.

There will be a short service followed by a Celebration of John's life on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 beginning at 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at The Center for Hope/Wintersville Methodist Church located at 702 Main Street with Pastor Clint Quillen of the church officiating. In lieu of flowers, we gratefully ask that you donate in his memory to The American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org).

The Kerr Watson Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
