Dean R. Davis

LEETONIA – Dean R. Davis, age 58, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:13 a.m. at Hospice House in North Lima, Ohio after a five-year battle with cancer.

Dean was born on October 30, 1966, in Salem, Ohio, a son of the late William G. and Carol A. (Debman) Davis. Dean graduated from Leetonia High School.

Dean had recently retired from PHD Manufacturing after working there for 37 years. He was an avid Ford truck, motorcross, NASCAR, mud bogging, and Ohio State enthusiast. Dean was the first to offer a helping hand whether he knew you or not. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Dean is survived by his two brothers, Dale (Tina Hager) Davis of Leetonia and Thomas (Megan) Davis of Washingtonville; an aunt, Margaret Beckingham of Ipswich, England; an uncle, Keith (Linda) Debnam of Ipswich, England; three nieces, Devon (Nicole) Davis, Autumn (Tyler) Ross and Amber (Daniel) Best; one nephew Taylor (Caitlin) Davis; and four great-nieces and nephews, Benjamin White, Liviana Davis, Savannah Ross and Tatum Davis and his dog, Sassy.

Graveside services will be held at the Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia, Ohio on September 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at Franklin Square Community Church.
