Judith Ann "JuJu" Carpenter passed after prolonged health struggles on June 16, 2025, in Canton, Ohio, at the age of 68.

Judy is survived by her sister, Connie Shive; sister-in-law, Myrna Carpenter; nieces and nephews, Victoria (Danny) Sawman, Samuel (Stacie) Carpenter, Chad (Shelia) Carpenter, Stacy (Ian) McNally, and Joe (Amanda) Shive; many great-nieces and -nephews, and lifelong best friend, Julie Little and her family.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Leon Carpenter and brother, Leon Carpenter Jr. We know that because of her unwavering faith, she is reunited with her parents and brother as they now watch over those left behind and celebrate with the Lord.

Judy was a graduate of Lisbon David Anderson, Aultman School of Nursing, and Waynesburg University, where she earned both her BSN and MBA degrees. She retired from East Liverpool City Hospital after serving there in a variety of positions. Judy was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Lisbon, where she served as an elder and gave selflessly to all church activities. Judy was passionate about her family and supporting her nieces and nephews in all their sports endeavors. She loved the beach and traveling with her friends and family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the The First Christian Church of Lisbon with Bob Garwood officiating. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. at the church followed by a reception. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Judy's life.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The First Christian Church of Lisbon, 225 E. Washington Street, Lisbon, OH 44432.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
