Dian ‘Dee Dee’ H. Moore

1944-2025

Dian "Dee Dee" H. Moore, 80, of Shakopee, Minn., formerly of Lisbon, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 9, 2025.

Dian was born in Lisbon on Nov. 1, 1944, at the home of her loving grandparents, Laige and Jean Chestnut, who also raised her and her sister. She was also Dr. Seward Harris' last home birth delivery. Dian graduated from David Anderson High School in 1962 and was Salutatorian of her class. She worked at Hillyer's IGA Foodliner, Huntington Bank and retired in 2010 from the Lisbon Lepper Library.

In addition to her grandparents and her aunt Marjorie Gallo, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, William "Mick" B. Moore III, in 2022. She is survived by her son, Matthew (Kirsten) Moore, grandchildren Jack, Madeline, and Benjamin Moore, and Madison and Joseph Brislin, and her daughter, Kristine (Neil) D'Cunha, and grandsons Dylan and Evan. She also leaves to cherish her memory her sister and best friend, Cynthia (Richard) Coppersmith, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dian was an active member of First Christian Church of Lisbon until moving to Minnesota in 2018 to be closer to family, where she and her husband attended Faith Covenant Church of Burnsville, Minn.

Visitation Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., at Windermere Chapel, 1705 Windermere Way, Shakopee, MN.
