Amelia ‘Amy’ Hupp

1940-2025

FLOWERY BRANCH, Georgia — Amelia “Amy” Hupp, 84, formerly of Lisbon, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Waypoint Senior Living. 

Amy was born Sept. 30, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Gerald and Catherine (Hartle) Bryan and had lived in Cleveland and Seven Hills until moving to Lisbon in 2009 where she lived until moving to Alpharetta, Georgia in 2018.

While living in Cleveland, Amy worked for 12 years as a business manager and in the accounting department for NASA.

While in Lisbon, Amy was a faithful member of the Lisbon First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Keep You in Stitches Quilting Club. She had many interests including sewing, cake decorating, raising houseplants, and crocheting. Amy was also an avid gardener and huge Cleveland Browns fan.  She was a current member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. 

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Jennifer Dawn Bouch of Alpharetta; sister, Sally Ann (Mike) Krapinski of Aurora, Ohio; brothers, Charles Thomas Bryan and Clayton Tyler (Kathy) Bryan, both of Columbus; granddaughter, Catherine Louise (Kenny) Rodriguez of Alpharetta, Georgia; great grandsons, Isaiah and Elijah Rodriguez and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Amy was also preceded in death by her sister, Edith Holly Nemec.

Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed. There will be a celebration of life event this Summer in Ohio.
