Jim Charles Show

1984-2025
LISBON — Jim Charles Show, 40, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
Jim was born May 20, 1984 in Weirton, West Virginia, and was the son of Jimmie C. and Barbara D. (Fitch) “Bobbie” Show.
A 2002 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School and the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center, Jim worked at Campbell Transportation for 21 years as a certified welder, certified crane operator, loader operator and held a Class A CDL.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He held a Brown Belt in Shotokan Karate, and also competed in Sporting Clays and Trap shooting. He was a hard-working man who would do anything for anyone who needed help.
In addition to his parents of Lisbon, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his sisters, Amy (John Vinci) Hissom and Paula (Randy) Stover, both of East Liverpool, and Megan Betts of Salineville; nephews, Luke Betts and Kane Kurpley, niece, Riley Betts, as well as many other nieces and nephews; aunt and uncle, Bill and Kathy Show of Lisbon; and great-uncle, James A. Show of West Point. Jim was well known and will also be dearly remembered by his many friends who were more like his brothers, including his best friends, Steve Stanley, Bill Athey, Dan Kurpley, Roy Faulk, and Eddie Jones.
Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, I.N. and Nina Show and Georgia and Bernard Fitch; and nephews, Ryder Betts and Armoni Slappy.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at his parent’s home at a later date and will be announced shortly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
