LISBON -- James Kelly Blankenship,76, died Wednesday morning April 23, 2025 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born March 28, 1949 in West Virginia, he was a son of the late Richard D. and Edna (Slagle) Blankenship.
Jim worked as an electrician at Tunnel Ridge Coal Mine until his retirement in 2022.
He was a member of F&AM No. 65 and the Scottish Rite. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and time with friends. He will be remembered as the former owner of Night Court in Lisbon.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy (Gouldsberry) Blankenship; children Ericka (Robert Bruehner) Blankenship and Jamie (Jake) O'Dell, as well as grandchildren: Addison, Adriana, Rhiannon, and Matthew and great-granddaughter Pheonix.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Carl and Morris Blankenship and Beverly Stepp and his stepson Michael Ikirt.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the Weber Funeral Home with the funeral officiated by Dana Blackburn immediately following calling hours.
