Richard (Dick) Paul Bosel

Richard (Dick) Paul Bosel passed away on Feb. 12, 2025 in Leesburg, Florida. Dick was born in Lisbon, Ohio on March 25, 1934. He served in the 4th Infantry Division, Company K, 22nd Regiment of the US Army during the end of the Korean War. Following the service, Dick worked at the Salem Label Company until his retirement in 1995. Dick enjoyed motorcycling, golfing and spending time with family and friends at both his Ohio and Florida residences.

Dick is survived by Ellen Bosel (wife), Laurie (Phillip) Ketron (daughter), Tod (Victoria) Bosel (son), Jill (Kevin) Bowen (daughter), CarrieLynn Clark (stepdaughter), Danielle Schwartz (stepdaughter), Robert Brown (stepson), 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, Marjorie Gold (sister) and was predeceased by Alta Bosel (mother), Andrew Bosel (father), Sally Bosel (1st wife), Betty Reynolds (sister), Andrew Bosel Jr. (brother) and Marlene Peppel (sister).

There are no planned services. A private memorial service will be held with family members at a later date. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and deep gratitude for all expressions of sympathy, acts of kindness and prayers shown during this time of bereavement. A special thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice for their exceptional care during his final days amongst us.
