Charles "Chuck" Bibbee, a man whose life was defined by passion, adventure, and unwavering dedication, passed away peacefully on Feb. 8, 2025, in Columbiana, Ohio. Born on March 16, 1942, in East Liverpool, Ohio, Chuck graced this world with 82 remarkable years.
Chuck's professional journey as a Chemical Engineer at 1st Energy and Duquesne Light Company was marked by innovation and excellence. His work ethic and commitment inspired colleagues and left a lasting impact in his field. Yet, it was his zest for life that truly set him apart.
A lover of the skies and seas, Chuck lived fully and passionately. Whether he was navigating the waters while boating, feeling the thrill of the open road on his motorcycle, exploring underwater wonders through scuba diving, or soaring above with his pilot's license, Chuck embraced every adventure with open arms.
Beyond his personal pursuits, Chuck was the proud former owner of Bibbee's Little Rock Lake, where many cherished memories were made and shared with family and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles Rodney Bibbee and Evelyn Mae (Williams) Bibbee, as well as his brother, Jerry Lee Bibbee. His legacy continues through his loving wife, Barbara (Smith) Bibbee; his devoted sons, Michael "Roc" Bibbee, Sean Bibbee, and Chayce Ryan Bibbee; his cherished grandson, Jared Michael Bibbee (Kiersten); and two great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit and love for life.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Chuck's extraordinary life and bid farewell on Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to noon at the chapel of Columbiana County Memorial Park Cemetery. A funeral service to honor Chuck's life and legacy will follow, officiated by Pastor Mark Blakeley. Services have been entrusted to the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists.
Chuck Bibbee's life was a testament to living with purpose, joy, and love. His adventurous spirit, warmth, and laughter will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
