Adam Mark Pickens

1946-2025

LISBON — Adam Mark Pickens, 79, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 3, 2025 in the emergency room at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Mark was born Jan. 10, 1946 in Battle Creek, Michigan, son of the late Carroll Glenn Pickens and Janelle Colleen (Layton) Pickens-Gamble.

A 1966 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, Mark worked as a machinist at NRM for 28 years and was a self-employed carpenter.

He was a member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ, former member of the Lisbon Lions Club, former member of the Lisbon VFW and the Lisbon Eagles.

Mark proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

His wife, Catherine Jo “Cathy” (Faulkner) Pickens, whom he married May 25, 1984, preceded him in death on May 21, 2018.

He is survived and will be dearly missed by his daughter, Danyelle (Keith) McReynolds of Franklin, Tenn.; sons, Robert John Marriner III of Lisbon, Christopher (Heidi) Marriner of Hubbard and Gregg Marriner of Lisbon; grandchildren, Seth Marriner, Sierra Marriner, Stacia Windland, Conner McReynolds, Cade McReynolds, Callen Adam McReynolds, Brittini Duris, Amanda Wright, and Kaila DiMaggio; great-grandchildren, Madison and Kylee Marriner, Annie, Mia, Erika, and Andrew Duris, and Davien Wright; sisters, Sondra (Greg) Hall of North Carolina and Marlene (Dave) Stewart of Lisbon; brother, Charles A. (the late Ginny) Pickens of Lisbon; several nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

Mark was also preceded in death by his son, Adam Mark Pickens, and by his sisters, Eva Clutter and Carol Jean Evens.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Jason Cole officiating.

The family will receive friends and family from 5 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
