It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and son, Gary Wayne Fisher, on Jan. 20, 2025 at the age of 69. He was a cherished sibling, son and friend loved by many for his warmth, humor and kindness. Born on Nov. 15, 1955 in Salem, Ohio, he spent his life caring for those he loved.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Featherstone; brother, Ed Fisher; sisters, Jan van Bolderen, Darlene Peterson and Shelly Logan; his nephew/surrogate son, John Baublitz; along with 48 nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Jared Wayne Fisher.
There will be no funeral services at this time. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life which is yet to be scheduled.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who have reached out with love and support during this difficult time. They would also like to extend a special thanks to those individuals who supported Gary and our family and worked tirelessly to help him live comfortably through these last months, in particular Nurse Molly, sister, Darlene and nephew, John whom he grew very close to.
