Raymond Thomas Jones Jr., known as "Tom" or "Toots" to most, is remembered by his wife, Linda, and his daughters, Emilie and Abby.
Tom was born June 18, 1950 in East Palestine, Ohio and had four brothers and sisters: Deb, Bonnie, Mike, and Scott. He then moved to St. Pete, Florida where he met his wife Linda and later started his self-owned business, New Horizon Pest Control, which he solely operated for over 40 years.
From a young age, Tom was an avid watcher of greyhound dog racing, participating in multiple tracks in Florida. He was known for being the best "handicapper" amongst his peers. Tom also enjoyed playing Euchre and sponsored Euchre tournaments within the Sunnybrook community in which he lived, once their daughters were grown up. He also was involved in the community by calling Bingo on Thursday nights in Sunnybrook and volunteering at the Elfer's Senior Center. Additionally, he loved to watch football and golf amongst other sports, music, and gourmet cooking.
Tom will be remembered by his sense of humor and dynamic personality. He will be greatly missed.
