SALINEVILLE -- Dwight H. Felton, 93, of Salineville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at Mercy Health in Youngstown.
He was born Dec. 10, 1931, in Jefferson County, Ohio, the son of the late Walter "Con" and Myrtle (Rose) Felton. In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley and Eleanor Felton; and one brother and sister-in-law, Dwayne and JoAnn Felton.
Dwight graduated from Irondale High School in 1949, and he proudly served in the United States Marines. He was previously employed for 35 years as a roller for Timet. Dwight was also a cattle farmer. He was a member of Grants Hill Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred "Millie" (Burgess) Felton, whom he married June 12, 1965; one son, Mark Hamilton Felton of Salineville; and one sister, Violet Sevek of Massillon, Ohio. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Sydney Felton, Abby Felton, and Ryker Felton; and two great-grandchildren: Leo and Max.
The funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St. in Wellsville, with Pastor Irv Hoover of the church officiating.
Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
