Dalton Cunningham

Dalton Cunningham, 28, of Salineville, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, from complications of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on May 4, 1996, the son of Jennifer (Custer) Madison and Scott Madison of Salineville. Dalton was a graduate of Southern Local and was employed with Asplundh Tree Service.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Justin Madison; maternal grandmother, Laura Custer; and paternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Ann Madison. Dalton was a hard worker and loved his family.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancee Kate Reaves of Salineville; three sisters, Nikki (Mike) Detwiler of Salem, Amanda Madison (Justin Guy) of Salem and Brittany Cunningham of East Liverpool; two brothers, Aaron Cunningham of East Liverpool and Joshua Madison of Salem; his maternal grandfather, Charles Custer of New Cumberland. He is also survived by a special nephew, Jaedon Madison, as well as several other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and good friends.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell. Interment will follow at Highlandtown Church Cemetery.
