Martha Jane Powers
EAST PALESTINE -- Martha Jane Powers, a longtime resident of East Palestine, OH died Friday, November 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Powers, and a granddaughter, Jenifer Powers Fruit.
She is survived by her sons, David (Denise) Powers, Tim Powers, Tom Powers, and Mark (Cynthia) Powers; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Martha Jane taught in the East Palestine Schools for 35 years. She enjoyed following her husband and sons playing polo across the Midwest as well as travelling, playing cards, and reading. She will be missed by her family and her many friends.
Friends may call at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, Monday, November 25, 2024, from 4 p.m until 7 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Fritz Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery.
