Lisa Rose Duty, 62, passed away Thursday November 21, 2024. She was born on March 30, 1962, the daughter of the late Eli and Ruth (Cline) Ratkovich Jr. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Duty Jr., a daughter, Kayla Ratkovich, nephew Eli "Zeek" Ratkovich IV and a niece Tracey Ratkovich.
Lisa was a former member of APA Pool League and the Midland Serbian Club.
She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Stephanie Atkins (Darrell Poland) of Columbiana; a son, Jerry (Briana) Duty III of Lisbon; three grandchildren, Nathan Atkins Jr., Makenzie Atkins and Shealynn Duty; a sister, Connie (Bob) Grimes of Negley and a brother, Eli "Butch" Ratkovich III of Negley; nieces and nephews, Heather, Shawna, Jacob, Robert, Ashlea, Kalin and Haylee and several great-nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens Newell. The family request memorial donations be made to the Nixon Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
