Charlene Ann Sparbanie, 71, of Hammondsville, passed away Nov. 6, 2024. She was born on Aug. 5, 1953, in Thunderbolt, Ga., the daughter of the late Charles and Ursula (Uszko) Hilf. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven Sparbanie, and a brother, Douglas Hilf.
She was a member of Pine Grove Church and the ladies group "Secret Sisters" and the Pioneer Club.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Sparbanie; a daughter, Apryl Sparbanie (Brad ) Peroney Jr. of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Ian Walker and Sean and Laci Growe; a brother, Greg Hilf of Pennsylvania.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024 at the Pine Grove Church at 2 p.m. Nixon Funeral home was in charge of services.
