NEGLEY -- Tammy L. Cope, 49, passed away September 6, 2024, at St. Elizabeth's Health Center following a brief illness.
Tammy was born February 22, 1975, in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Shirley Dunham Cope.
She was a 1993 graduate of East Palestine High School. Tammy worked as a para-educator for East Palestine High School. She headed up the local autism run for the past eight years. She previously worked for Timeout in East Palestine as a bartender. When not working, Tammy enjoyed going to yard sales and rummage sales with her son.
Tammy is survived by her son, Sean Cope of Negley; a sister, Amy Cope of East Palestine; nephews, Tanner (Mikayla) Cope and Carter Little; two great-nieces, McKinlee and Tatum Cope and her aunt Nana.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a daughter in infancy, Bailey Rain Cope.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Pastor Cindy Figley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday prior to services from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
