EAST PALESTINE -- Alice Constance Bark, 84, of East Palestine, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at her home in East Palestine.
She was born on Sept. 20, 1940, in New Bedford, Mass., daughter of the late Joseph and Constance Bourassa Tenczar.
Alice enjoyed traveling the world with his husband. She was a member of various churches throughout her life, most recently at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church. She was an art quilter and also enjoyed painting and knitting.
Her husband, Rev. Charles Albert Bark Jr., whom she married on Feb. 8, 1964, preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2023.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Theresa "Terrye" (Jeffrey) Stewart of East Palestine; daughter-in-law, Tracy Bark; two grandchildren, Josalyn (Steven) Tigelman and Skylar Bark; nine great-grandchildren, Caydene, Jilliauna, Tripp, Caleena, Jursiey, Clark, Troyal, Jeffrey and Bricker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles A. Bark III.
Per the families' wishes, no services will be held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
