LAKE TOMAHAWK -- William D. "Sunny" Beadnell, 88, passed away Aug. 27, 2024, at the Truman House in New Philadelphia.
Sunny was born at home in Salineville, March 2, 1936, son of the late Theodore and Stella Robb Beadnell.
He was a proud US Marine veteran and had retired from General Motors in Lordstown in 2000.
Sunny was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Mary Lou (Welsh) Beadnell in 2007; a son, Michael in 2015; daughter, Marjorie in 2013; three brothers, Chick, George and Harry and five sisters, Helen, Virginia, Edna, Anna and Ina.
Following Sunny's wishes, no services will be observed. A private burial will be held alongside his wife at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
