EAST PALESTINE -- Carole L. Black, 84, a longtime resident of East Palestine, passed away Aug. 4, 2024, at The Inn at Walker Mill, where she has resided the past four years.
She was born July 29, 1940, in Mount Lebanon, Pa.
Carole is survived by two daughters, Diana (Nick) Bogdan of Columbiana, Connie (Lon) Berresford of East Palestine; four grandchildren, Benjamin (Amber) Greenawalt, Jamie (Jayden) Corbitt, Jessica (George) Payne, Morgan (Marco Poole) Berresford; six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lila, Sophie, Hallee, Malaya and Miles; a sister, Sunny DiCio and a niece, Deborah.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Black in 2020 as well as her parents.
Following Carole's wishes, no services will be observed.
