Robert Carl ‘Bob’ Bieshelt

1937-2024

Robert Carl "Bob" Bieshelt, a loving father, devoted husband, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, at the age of 87. Born in Berlin Center, Ohio on Feb. 8, 1937, Robert lived a life full of love, dedication, and joy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Bieshelt, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Robert was a cherished father to his daughter, Bonnie Christiansen (Steve), and his sons, Joseph Bieshelt (Kari) and Steven Bieshelt (Kara). His legacy of love and family continues through his grandchildren, Lindsey (Kyle), Robert, Steven (Olga), Brian, and Emilie.

Robert was a man of many passions. He found joy in the tranquility of fishing and the strategic challenge of a good round of golf. His love for these activities was only surpassed by his dedication to his family and his country. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Robert served with honor and pride, embodying the values of duty and commitment.

Those who knew Robert will remember his gentle spirit, his unwavering commitment, and his pride for his family. He was a man who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held to honor Robert's life and legacy at Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to noon. Military honors will be accorded at noon by the Benjamin Firestone Post #290 American Legion.

Rest in peace, Robert. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
