Dolores M. Welch, 93, of Summitville, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024. She was born at home Dec. 2, 1930, by Dr. Pelley to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Wargo.
Dolores was one of 11 children. She graduated from the Salineville High School. She married the love of her life, Karl H. Welch, April 16, 1952 in Aberdeen, Md. Karl passed away Feb. 2, 2019.
Dolores belonged to St. John the Evangelist Church in Summitville. She was a homemaker who could be found working in her flowers or in the garden. She canned the vegetables that she raised to feed her family. Dolores enjoyed raising rabbits.
Survivors include her son, Karl E. Welch of Summitville; siblings Betty Alexander of Uniontown, Marry Ann (Joe) Pavelchak of Lakewood, Ohio, Jacob Wargo of Los Angeles and Leonard Wargo of Union City Calif.; and many loving family members.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons and her siblings James Wargo, David Wargo, Joseph Wargo, John Wargo, Gabriel Wargo and Margaret Sanders.
There are no services planned and cremation has taken place.
