Timothy Strabley

1960-2024

Surrounded by his family, Timothy Strabley passed away peacefully April 27, 2024, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born April 23, 1960, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Smith) Strabley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers.

Tim lived in Salineville his entire life. On July 25, 1981, he married his wife, best friend, and soulmate, Danielle. For 44 years, Tim and Dani built a life and family full of love, hope and laughter. They could often be found sitting together at the kitchen table, drinking coffee while listening to music and watching the birds and animals at the bird feeders. Tim was Dani's other half, and she was his.

Tim retired in 2023 after being a roofer and member of the Roofers Local Union #88 for over 20 years. He was a friend and mentor for many of his coworkers and always kept the job entertaining. Even after retiring, he would keep a close eye on the weather so he could give his fellow roofers a heads up. He was always looking out for everyone.

A devoted husband, dad, grandpa and uncle, Tim provided support and plenty of amusement for his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, watching sports (his "motivational speeches" to the Browns could be heard down the street!), and his garden. He was a dedicated caregiver to all kinds of animals, Dani never knew what he was going to bring home next! Tim was capable of fixing any and everything, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

In January 2024, Tim was diagnosed with cancer. After his diagnosis, he made it a point to get up early to make the most out of every day God gave him. He fought hard with courage, determination and some stubbornness thrown in for good measure. With his family by his side, he persevered through every step of treatment. Tim grew up in the Catholic Church and his faith helped get him through the toughest times.

Tim is survived by his wife, Danielle (Heppe) Strabley; daughters, Jaime (Brett) Bratton of Lexington, Ohio, and Kimberly (Aaron) Blatch of Wellsville, Ohio; son, Nicholas (Caitlyn) Strabley of Grove City, Ohio; and grandchildren, Ariella, Adylise, Alexander, Kinzley, Kamden, Kyla and Keegan. He loved spending time with his family, and he was so proud of all of his kids and grandkids.

Tim was a good man, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to get to know him.

No services will be held; however, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date to allow family and friends to share memories of Tim.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Kerr Watson Funeral Home. You may leave online condolences at www.kerrwatsonfh.com.
