LISBON -- Naomi B. Morlan, 96, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a recent illness.
Mrs. Morlan was born May 27, 1927 in Lisbon, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clayson Lee and Winnie (Gromley) Bowman and had lived in the Lisbon area all of her life.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, was an active 4-H advisor and supporter; and loved gardening and tending to her flowers.
Her husband, Charles Morris Morlan, whom she married Oct. 10, 1948, preceded her in death on May 18, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Franklin, Lee, Dale, and Fred Bowman; and by her sister, Anna Faulk.
She is survived and will be dearly remembered by her son, Mark V. (Karen) Morlan of Lisbon; brother, Willis (Shelia) Bowman of Leetonia; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial visitation will be held for the family at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. No funeral service will be observed. Private burial will take place at the East Carmel Cemetery in Rogers.
