NEGLEY -- Melinda "Sue" Delo, 61, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.
Sue was born June 16, 1962, in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Junior and Dora Franklin Adams.
Sue loved the outdoors, especially camping. Sue enjoyed cooking and experimenting with new recipes. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, most especially her grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alfred, whom she married in 1988; three daughters, Lisa Marie Wright, Nicole (James) Miller, Tina (Anthony) Riccelli; eight grandchildren, Dakoda, Maysie, Bryan, Noah, Aiden, Cadence, Sebastian and Brooke, as well as a brother, Steve Adams, and a sister, Charlotte (Ronald) Ogg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepmother, Fern Adams, and a brother, Edward Adams.
A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Friday at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Cindy Wright officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
