NEW WATERFORD -- Harold F. Knotts, 78, passed away unexpectedly March 31, 2024, at his residence.
Harold was born April 22, 1945, in Kingwood, W.Va., son of the late Harold and Betty Lou Messenger Knotts.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. Harold worked for General Dynamics, building submarines for almost 10 years. He also more recently worked as a barber. Harold was a graduate of culinary school and enjoyed cooking and grilling for family and friends. He was also an artist and was known for drawing cartoons.
Harold is survived by his wife, Bonnie Knotts; son, Joshua Knotts of New Waterford; three grandchildren, Tiger Lily, Sarah, and Allie; as well as his dog, Sammy.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Knotts, in 2014, and numerous pets.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday April 8, 2024, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Pastor Mike Dyer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 2 to 3 p.m.
