ROGERS -- Timothy L. Meek, 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Feb. 21, 2024.
Tim was born in Salem, Ohio, Oct. 12, 1962, son of Marvin and Sally Hays Meek.
He graduated from Slippery Rock High School, then proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Once discharged, Tim lived the remainder of his life in Negley and Rogers on the family farms. He was employed for over 20 years at National Heat Exchange prior to his retirement. After retirement, Tim started American Chemical Compounding, which he proudly owned and operated. When not working, Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and smoking cigars.
Tim is survived by his mother, Sally Meek of Rogers; two brothers, Terry Meek of Rogers and Jeff (Jamie) Meek of Negley, as well as a sister, Connie Artman of Columbiana and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Meek, in 2021.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. No other services will be observed. A private burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fairfield Township.
