Grace Irene Robb Bowman Donohue

1936-2024

LISBON -- Grace Irene Robb Bowman Donohue, 88, passed away peacefully at 4:27 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

Grace was born Jan. 7, 1936 in Fairfield Township, a daughter of the late William and Irene Robb and had been a life resident of the area.

She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and how she loved making ceramics and pottery.

Grace was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale W. Bowman, whom she married April 11, 1959 on Feb. 15, 1994 and by her second husband, Charles Donohue on June 3, 2000.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Gerry J. Bowman and his wife, Katherine, and Glen G. and his wife, Melinda, both of Lisbon, and Ted W. Bowman and his wife, Claudia, of Champion; sister, Shirley Everett and her husband, Wayne, of Leetonia; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Grace was also preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Knotten, Betty Hauter and Mary Beede; and by her brothers, Eugene, Richard, William and Carl Robb.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Clarkson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family from 11 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
