William (Bill) Perry Bowers Jr.

ROGERS — William (Bill) Bowers, 59, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born July 24, 1964, in Salem, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents William Sr. and Nancy Melott Bowers.

Bill was a United States Army veteran serving one tour in Korea. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cornhole, and sitting by the bonfire with his friends and family.

Bill is survived by his wife Charlotte Bowers of 19 years; son, Micah Rardon, of East Liverpool, and a daughter, Emily Loveless of Springfield, Mo.; and four stepchildren, Jill (Dennis) Mahan, Lance (Alison) Roffers, Brett (Amy) Chabela, all of Springfield, Mo., and Alex (Nancy) Morris of Salem, Ohio. Bill had 17 grandchildren and countless cousins, nieces and nephews. He was especially close to Danial Jacob Weddle of Rogers and Vicki (Brian) Ellis of New Waterford. He had two sisters, Susan Mast, of Russellville, Ark., and Christina (Pat) Flickinger, of East Palestine. He had two brothers, Robert (Joyce) Bowers, of Negley, and James (Kathy) Bowers, of Rogers.

We welcome family and friends to join us in celebrating Bill’s life Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Grange located at 1720 N. Market St. in East Palestine.
