Scott Dean Kaltenbach Jr.

Scott Dean Kaltenbach Jr., 47, of Lisbon passed away Jan. 13, 2024.

Born Dec. 29, 1976, in Fort Carson, Colorado, he was the son of Dianne (Owens) Hershey of Lisbon and the late Scott Dean Kaltenbach.

Scott worked for a construction company and he was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper.

He was the proud father of his son, Karson Kaltenbach of Ohio, and his four daughters, Chloe Thompson of Pennsylvania, Kiya Thompson of Pennsylvania, Kenzie Kaltenbach of Virginia and Piper Kaltenbach of Virginia. He is also survived by four brothers, Jared Kaltenbach of Georgia, Jessie Kaltenbach of Georgia, Josh (Natasha) Kaltenbach of Texas and Michael Jenkins of Elkton; three sisters, Brandy Kaltenbach of Lisbon, Jessica (Gary) Johnston of Elkton, Tiffany (Rob) Parilla Heaton of West Point; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and paternal grandmother Sally Kaltenbach of Georgia.

Scott was the best at making people laugh and always quick to lend a hand. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 from 1p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va.
