Carol G. Frank

EAST PALESTINE — Carol G. Frank, 76, passed away peacefully Dec. 7, 2023, at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana with family by her side.

Carol was born June 16, 1947, in East Palestine, daughter of the late Phillip and Grace Riggs Ash.

She was a lifelong resident of East Palestine, a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a bus and classroom aid for East Palestine Head Start for a number of years prior to her retirement in 2011.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lonzo Frank; a daughter, Melissa (Matthew) Ream of East Palestine; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brandon Hamilton.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Mary’s and Akeso Hospice for all the care they showed to Carol.
