Adina Young Maxwell
1991-2023
Ms. Adina Young Maxwell passed away at her home in Hanoverton Dec. 4, 2023, at the age of 32.
She was born May 28,1991, in Cleveland, Ohio, to mother Yvonne Young and her adopted parents, Robert and Janet (Green) Maxwell.
Adina was a graduate of Salem High School. She was blessed to have made her home with her life family Ron and Ruth Ingeldue. Adina was also blessed to spend days hanging out with her brother Antonio (Tony) Maxwell and her life brothers Kevin Sturgeon, Mathew, Nicholas and Rubin. On Sunday you would bet Adina would be watching the Steelers on TV. She also enjoyed watching holiday parades. At Special Olympics basketball you could see her cheering for her friends. Adina enjoyed taking Teddy Bear and Codey outside for walks.
The most important thing for Adina was family gatherings, picnics, and her love of all holidays. Aunt Caroline’s calls on holidays and birthdays were always looked forward to. The more family around the better — Aiden, Zoey, Heylee, Miles, Bubbles, and Baby Leo, you meant the world to her. Adina’s smile would always greet you when you came to the house and when she smiled you felt so much love shining back on you.
She loved going to EDI, working and spending time with her friends. Columbiana County Board of DD, SSA Dianne always made Adina feel valued and supported. APSI thank you for supporting Adina to be part of the No Limits and Turning Point family for all of these years.
Visits from her grandfather, Charle Buckner Sr. (now deceased), were all very special to Adina. Cousins Amira and Samiah Hasen (Samiah also deceased) enjoyed seeing Adina smile when they came to see her. She was greeted to her home coming, in Heaven, by her birth mom, aunts and uncles.
Please join Adina’s life family Ruth and Ron on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services in Salem to celebrate the life of this amazing young lady, better known as “Mom’s Beautiful Angel,” who brought so much love and joy to the world.
