Diane Lynn Crow

1949-2023

SALINAS, Calif. — Diane Lynn Crow, 74, of Salinas, California, formerly of East Palestine, passed away of cancer at 3:50 a.m. Oct. 26, 2023, at Salina Valley Hospital in Salinas, California.

She was born April 25, 1949, in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy McIntosh Moore.

Diane was a 1967 graduate of East Palestine High School then went on to graduate from Trumbull Memorial Hospital (1967-1968) as an x-ray technician. She then moved to California where she worked for 50 years.

Diane married Dr. Deane Crow Dec. 26, 1975, with him passing July 13, 2021.

Diane is survived by a stepson, Jason Crow of Oregon; sisters, Debbie (Randy) White of New Springfield and Darlene Sutherin of Hanoverton; nephews, Bob Davis, Ed Hostetter and John Jarvis; a niece, Betsy Burns; and 16 great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy Moore; her husband, Dean Crow; a son, Jesse Crow, who passed Aug. 7, 2010; a nephew, Blaine Davis; her maternal grandparents, John and Edith McIntosh; and her paternal grandparents, Rollie and Flora Moore.

A memorial calling hour will be held at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at 1 p.m. with a service to follow at 2 p.m. A private burial will take place at Glenview Cemetery at a later date.
