Robert Franklin Gossman

Robert Franklin Gossman, 85, of Salineville went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

Robert was born in Massillon, Ohio, May 27, 1938, a son of the late Laverne Gossman and Mable (Jones) Gossman.

Having lived his life in the area, Robert spent a career as a truck driver having last worked for Napa Auto Parts. He was a longtime member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church and was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Robert is survived by his wife Evelyn Sue (Moore) Gossman, whom he married in 1962 and has spent the last 61 wonderful years with; a son, Robert Gossman of Salineville; a daughter, Susan Gossman-Davis (Robert) of East Rochester; five grandchildren, John Smith (Racheal), Brandon Smith (Bridgett Hostetter-companion), Nathaniel Davis, Matt Davis, Redding Davis; and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville.
