Carole’s parting message: I always felt blessed and thanked God daily for my wonderful life. My job with the American Red Cross took me many different places, where I made friends with hundreds of caring people from all walks of life. Other friends in my life, some of whom I have known since first grade, were true loving friends and we were always there for each other. I felt especially blessed to be the mother of the greatest children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren ever. You know how much you were loved and you know that “I love you best.”

Memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross or the Salem Alumni Association.
