Sharyn L. Pickens

COLUMBIANA — Sharyn L. Pickens, 73, a longtime resident of Columbiana, passed away Aug. 21, 2023, at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

Sharyn was born March 17, 1950, in Rochester, Pa., daughter of the late Howard Reynolds and Margaret Gotthardt Reynolds.

Sharyn was a graduate of East Palestine High School and worked for several years at East Palestine China.

She is survived by a son, Ron Bish of Hartford, Tenn.; daughter, Jennifer (Dennis) Stock of East Palestine; four grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Abby, Robert and R.J.; six great-grandchildren, as well as her cat, Bubba.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, John “Jack” Pickens, in 2022.

Following Sharyn’s wishes, no public services will be held.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Frederickson and his staff for the care they showed to Sharyn.
