Joan L. (Gibson) Musolf

Joan L. (Gibson) Musolf, of East Palestine, died June 19, 2023 while visiting relatives in San Diego, Calif.

She was born March 5, 1943. She was a positive, encouraging and adventurous spirit who extended a smile and love to all she met.

She will be missed by her partner and soul mate, Karl W. Blissenbach, her son, William Musolf of Granville, Ohio, her daughter Amy (Musolf) Fee of Quincy, Mich., Nieces Terri (Fritz) Linnel of Ravenden, Ariz., Brenda (Fritz) Simon of Poway, Calif. and nephew Timothy Fritz of Poway, Calif.

Joan leaves behind 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous grand nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. To be a friend of Joan’s you simply had to say ‘hello’.

Joan is preceded in death by her father, Howard Gibson, mother, Marie (Kaiser) Gibson and sister, Janis (Gibson) Fritz.

Joan’s body was cremated and there will be a memorial service in Quincy, Mich. with a date to be determined.
