Harold Clark

EAST PALESTINE –Harold Clark, 74, passed away June 28, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Health Center in Youngstown.

Harold was born May 6, 1949, in Weirton, W.Va., son of the late Harry and Wanda Ward Grimm.

He was a 1967 graduate of Crestview High School. He worked various jobs throughout his career including seven years as a lineman for Rochell (Tube Tech). Harold also worked on the sidewalk crew for the City of East Palestine for five years, but the job that was most important to him was the work he did at various local farms.

Harold is survived by three sons, Clay (Becky Thompson) Clark of Rogers, Chris Clark, Kane Borelli of East Liverpool; two daughters, Cari (Bill Hostetter) Clark of Negley, Josie (Jason) Greathouse of East Palestine; three brothers, Dave (Nancy Jones) Clark of Oregon, Kenny Grimm of Wellsville and Bobby Mayhew of West Virginia; five sisters, Kathy Grimm of Florida, Diana Dickson of Parkersburg, W.Va., Rhonda Schmidt of Wellsville, Lisa Grimm of Columbiana and Michelle Grimm of Youngstown as well as two grandchildren, Ashley and Mesha and three great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Zach and Chris, Jr.

Harold is preceded in death by a son, Josh Clark, four brothers, Tommy Lee Grimm, Pete Grimm, Rob Williams and David Grimm as well as a sister, Anna Grimm.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
