Dolores "Terri" Lolita (Acosta) Strawn, 87, of Sebring/Copeland Oaks, passed away at 3:05 p.m., Friday, July 21, 2023 at Crandall Medical Center at Copeland Oaks.
She was born January 20, 1936 in Manhattan, New York, daughter of the late Manuel Perdo and Monica (Vazquez) Acosta.
She raised her family here in Damascus, Ohio and was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at the hospital. She also was a lifelong blood donor.
Terri retired to Palmetto, Florida thirty years ago and moved back to the area recently.
She is survived by her children, Debra "Debbie" Lynn (Gregg) Bialk of Oakland, Tenn., George William Strawn II of Salem, and Gregory "Greg" Wayne (Jessica) Strawn of Collierville, Tenn., nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Gary Wade Strawn.
The family has chosen to have a private service for their Mother. The Rev. Bruce Irwin will be officiating the services and the burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial Library fund of Gary W. Strawn at Damascus Methodist Church 300 Valley Road, Damascus, Ohio 44619.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Greenisen family at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
