Sally Ann Westover

Sally Ann Westover, age 87 of Troy, Ohio, and formerly of Sidney, Ohio, passed away at 9:10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1936 in Lisbon, Ohio to the late Donald and Frances (Kelch) Hill.

Along with her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Allen Westover, who passed away February 4, 2006; as well as sister Beverly Dickey; brothers-in-law Larry Stewart, Ronald Dickey, Lynn Westover, and Wayne Westover; as well as sisters-in-law Jean Westover Garvin and Jayne Westover Zetterquist.

Those left to cherish Sally’s memory include her children: Cynthia “Cindy” (Mike) Morris of Orlando, Fla., Sharon (Doug) McClure of Troy, Ohio, Jeffrey (Deb) Westover of Fort Loramie, Ohio, Carrie (Jerry) Thompson of West Milton, Ohio, and David (Connie) Westover of Sidney, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Joyce Stewart, Jack (Beverly) Hill, and Blair (Renee) Hill; brother-in law Eric (Swede) Zetterquist; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Sally was a 1954 graduate of David Anderson High School in Lisbon, Ohio. She was a resident of Sidney for many years and worked for Sidney City Schools as a secretary before retiring after 25 years. She was a member of Mid-County Church of Christ in Troy. Sally was a big Cincinnati Reds fan, but her heart belonged with her family. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
