Ruth Anne Pratt

Ruth Anne (Moore) Pratt of Columbiana, age 82, passed away on June 19, 2023. Born to the late Robert and Ida Louise Moore on Nov. 29, 1940 in Daybrook, WV, she graduated from Clay-Beetle High School in 1958 and married Lee Work Pratt shortly after.

She was well known to her friends as the better half of the “General Lee and Ruthie” Karaoke and DJ. Together they became well known throughout Ohio for their DJing, and passionate fund raising for Veteran Service Organizations. Ruth was Past President of the VFW Auxiliary in Washingtonville, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Leetonia.

She is survived by Lee, her husband of 64 years, sister Melanie (Paul) Richards of Columbus, brother Rodney Moore of Vienna, WV, daughter Allison (Mark) Horvath of Warren, son David of Columbiana, daughter LuAnne (Jason) Bumgardner of Canfield, along with four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Roberta (John) Miller, son Mark Blair Pratt, grandson Jeremy Bryan Pratt.

Per her request, no calling hours or funeral service. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
