Janet A. Maley Smith

EAST LIVERPOOL — Janet A. Maley Smith, 86, of East Liverpool passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Janet was born in East Liverpool on April 5, 1937 a daughter of the late Francis J. and Marjorie J. (Myers) Maley. She retired from Summitville Tile where she worked in accounts payable.

Preceding Janet in death were her husband Pat E. Smith; brother Joseph A. Maley; two sisters Marjorie Ayers and Sara Jane Cox and two brothers-in-law James Poplar and Thomas Cox.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Frances Sue Maley Poplar; brother Richard A. Maley and his wife Becky; brother-in-law Robert Ayers and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor Eric Edwards of St. John Lutheran Church will conduct a service at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. Burial at Riverview Cemetery.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
