Paula Kay Jewell

WELLSVILLE — Paula Kay Jewell, 59, of Wellsville, passed away May 27, 2023.

Born July 24, 1963 in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Grafton and Betty (Jackson) Korbel.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Grafton.

Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Jewell (Daniel Kernich) of East Liverpool and Jamie Jewell of Salem; five grandchildren, Kaiden, Kaylee, Bella, Jakob, and Alexander; four sisters, Tracey Digman of East Liverpool, Roxann (Dave) Reeves of Canton, Bonnie (Jim) Jackson of Wisconsin and Connie Merriman of Wellsville; three brothers, Leonard Mercer of Salineville, James Mercer of North Carolina, and Aaron Korbel of Nevada; and also by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV.
