Mary Lou McCoy

ENON VALLEY — Mary Lou McCoy, 83, of Little Beaver Twp., formerly a resident of East Palestine, passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2023 at her home.

Mary Lou was born January 5, 1940, in East Palestine, daughter of the late Willis and Grace Ward Walker.

She was a 1958 graduate of East Palestine High School and was a member of the Enon Presbyterian Church where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and served in various committees throughout the years. Mary Lou also served on the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chippewa Fire Department.

Mary Lou is survived by two sons, Timothy R. (Donna) McCoy of Pittsburgh, Tracy S. (Diane) McCoy of Enon Valley; two daughters, Kimberly (John Wiley) McCoy of Homewood and Crystal Becker of Enon Valley; brother-in-law, Bob Wolfe of Petersburg, Ohio; sister-in-law, Marilyn Walker of Stow, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Henry McCoy in 2011, a brother, Willis Walker, Jr and a sister, Carol Wolfe.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Little Beaver Cemetery.
