Lucille L. Bishop

1928-2023

EAST PALESTINE — Lucille L. Bishop, 94, passed away Feb. 7, 2023, at her daughter’s home with family by her side.

She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in South Shore, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Allen and Ellen Frayley Allen.

Lucille worked at Dwight Morris and Kingwood Pottery as well as Circle K in East Palestine prior to her retirement.

Lucille is survived by three sons, Robert E. Bishop, Charles J. Bishop, Guy (Judy) Bishop; four daughters, Linda (Ben) Johnson, Caroline (John) Little, Peggy Sue Cunningham, Bonnie (Jerry) Peebles; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bishop in 2021; a granddaughter, Loretta Haines; son-in-law, Andrew Cunningham Sr.; daughters-in-law, Deloras Bishop and Colleen Bishop; her parents as well as brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023 at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow services at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
